Our client, a logistics company, is looking to recruit a Senior Planner to be based in Lusaka. Reporting to the Manager Operations, your duties will include: operational planning and execution of abnormal machines, components and overnight parts distribution into measurable business results, ensuring profitability, operational excellence, sound corporate governance, customer relationships and people development. It is important to note that due to the nature of the business you will be required from time to time to work weekends and overtime. To be considered for this position you must have a minimum diploma in Logistics or Supply Chain Management with a minimum of 3 years experience in planning in the abnormal cargo environment with a good understanding of different border documents and procedures. In addition, you must have strong data analysis abilities, good communication skills, be willing to work shifts and weekends and possess a drive for continuous improvement.
