Our client who specializes in the telecommunications industry is currently looking to place the following post:- TEAM LEAD NET DEVELOPER PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:- Develop and manage a team of developers to maintain the companys administration system/website that is developed in .NET. This includes developing new features, maintaining the current code base and fixing bugs. KEY PERFORMANACE AREAS:- Extensive Knowledge and experience developing C# ASP.NET MVC websites in Visual Studio 2010/2012 Extensive knowledge and experience of JavaScript/JQuery. Experience in Bootstrap, Knockout advantageous. Knowledge and/or experience of Web services, WCF Services, WebAPI, Restful Services, (XML and JSON) Database skills being able to interface with MSSQL databases with ADO and/or EF Knowledge and/or Experience with Unit Testing, IOC/DI advantageous, preferably with Ninject. Knowledge and/or Experience with Workflow Foundation and Windows Services advantageous Knowledge of Agile methodologies highly advantageous Implement best practices in web and coding standards for the team To ensure the team deliver the development requirements on time and to specification To ensure the team’s quality of software is within the specified targets Manage and report on day to day development tasks to ensure KPIs are achieved Management of source control, build and release processes of the team. Overseeing testing and test process used in the team Liaising competently with management and other teams within the organisation KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS WILL BE MEASURED BY:- To ensure a consistent delivery of quality solutions and craft the most appropriate and efficiently designed solutions to problems. To ensure every solution developed meets the development specifications and to accurately estimate the time required To adhere and develop the development and document standards and to champion quality in the team To ensure all software is meticulously tested and to ensure tests are automated where possible. To help ensure we maintain and improve the uptime of our systems To act as champion in the process, tools and frameworks we use and to ensure we continually improve the way we do things To ensure our solutions are scalable and do communicate capacity and scalability best practices to the team. Mentoring and encouraging everyone to take the initiative to solve problems Daily co-ordination of releases into testing and the live environment The team leader will work directly with the developer manger and or systems information manager and is required to build and maintain web systems that meet our company requirements. EDUCATION/ QUALIFICATION:- Degree or Diploma in computer programming and/or website programming. Experience Minimum of 4 years corporate development experience At least 4 years’ experience developing .NET web applications. SPECIAL SKILLS:- Managing a team of software developers and ultimately be responsible for all work produced by the team Ability to manage tasks concurrently Problem solving skills Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Attention to detail Good time management skills Self starter Resilient.
