Our cube draft went quite luxuriously last night. There were Kozileks cast, infinite combos perpetrated, forbid locks, traders of ONLY SNAKES!, and some humorous animosity over tinker. There were pizzas and subway, skittles and starbust lollipops. I was privileged enough to have a seat at the table, at least I felt that way until the end of the drafting section >.< The distraction of my losses made me forget to take photos. Anyway, to the interesting bit: The winner was Ryan Knighton - happily walking away from the event with a set of swords and the main Knight-Sneddon Cash prize. Second was Thomas Austin, pocketing a sweet $200 and Third went to Joel McCabe, scoring a $100 reward for understanding Sams cube the best and putting together some very unfair shenanigans. We all had a great evening. Thank you to Sam for the Cube. Its full of all the Sammest ways to play. Thank you to John & Lesley Sneddon for the prize pool. Mindblowing, truly. Thank you to the players who fronted up 40 bucks for the chance to play really cool mtg games with free food. Our Knight Memorial events will continue to be annual. I mean, I might get to channel ulamog next time, right?
