Our dear Anchor was euthanized this afternoon at the age of 14-15? The Vet says he is suffering with doggie Altzheimers and has gotten very skinny and cannot walk very well. He has gone downhill quickly over the last year and falls down alot, sleeps alot, doesnt know where he is alot. Anchor came into our lives when he was 2 years old after our friends could no longer keep him on their sailboat (hence his name) in Coconut Grove. He lived with Tam and I for five years and in that time was a character that often made us laugh, yell, chase him, threaten him but most of all LOVE him with all our hearts. When my brother Bob Batugowski moved to Florida in 2007 he had also fallen in love with our little monster and asked me if he could have Anchor. Anchor has lived with him ever since. He was a companion, a comedian, a brat and just an all around great Lil Buddy to us all. He has his own Facebook page being the ham that he was. RIP Anchor Batugowski. Well always love and miss you. See you again someday.
