Our executive board wrote yesterday that they have been advised by the state attorney that parents do not have the right to opt out of DIBELs. Also that parents may not ask to have behavioral data and student photos removed from their SIS program one point. Because this system is integral to how the school functions and is not tied to anything outside of our school, that information will not be removed. Anyone aware of current or pending legislation that will help protect our childrens privacy and parents right to opt out of Dibels, Utah Compose and computerized portals besides SAGE?
