Our family backyard aquaponics system [25/03/2014] Thanks to the members of our aquaponic community, through your knowledge, help, time and dedication. I am able to feed my family good wholesome food. I knew nothing about aquaponics when I made a conscious choice to become self reliant, I worked in a field of I.T. I wasnt experienced with a jigsaw or even a grinder.. Didnt have any knowledge with fish, pipes and the like.. nor did I know how to grow anything other than sunflowers, let alone care & raise livestock. To date, we are growing so much (nutrient rich wholesome fruit & vegetables) that its a joy to share the surplus with friends, family and neighbours. A blessing to all. Our community is growing and learning more thanks to you, your words of encouragement, help and support. You give us the much needed confidence to get out there and have a GO!! Truly grateful for your worldwide efforts and contributions to our aquaponic community. Keep up the great work everyone!! Thank you very much, Danny & family.
