Our family is saddened by the loss of Lt. Edward J. Walsh and Michael R. Kennedy. Several Boston firefighters came to visit our Jack at Shriners Hospital after he fell into a campfire and was severely burned when he was 4. During Jacks 2 week stay in the hospital, Boston firefighters who are part of the Burn foundation brought Santa to the hospital and up to the 8th floor in a BFD hook and ladder truck and delivered Jack a toy fire truck, a BFD badge and many other gifts Jack will cherish for the rest of his life. Please, please support the amazing work of the Burn Foundation and Shriners Hospital in Boston. They saved Jacks hand and wrist.
