Our favorite singing duo- Megan Helmers and Charlie Reese met in a 2008 Des Moines Playhouse production of The Pajama Game and have been singing and dancing together ever since. Their local theater appearances include Legally Blonde (Brooke Wyndham / Emmett Forrest), Curtains (Niki Harris / Aaron Fox), Thoroughly Modern Millie (Charlie: Jimmy), All Shook Up (Megan: Sandra), The Producers, Reefer Madness!, and many more. Despite their nearly six-year relationship, they have only managed to play love interests once! You can catch Charlie in StageWest Theater Companys upcoming production of Avenue Q !
