Our final destination on our mini vacation was to stay at the Paradise Inn in Mount Rainier National Park and take some hikes on trails.Hundreds of trials from most challenging to few steps to see wild flowers in the meadows. From WA Coast, you enter the park from Nisqually on Hwy706,a scenic Hwy.Stop here and there such as creek at Kantz, spot a deer lumbering along the road,Nisqually river all on SW side of Mt Rainier. Finally arrives at Paradise point at 5400Ft elevation.Lodge was originally been build in 1916 and was renovated and updated in 2006.Our rooms were two twin beds on 3rd floor,a main level with a simple lectric heater.Of course I warned boys that there is no cell service, internet connection,or any room phone.Well it has nice private bath with wonderful hot water and a delicious mountain fresh drinking water. The view of Mt Rainier from your room!too. An Amateur photographer taking a pic of Nisqually fall, main lodge view, variuous wild flowers along the trails,a little snooz by the visitor center is hard to beat.Life is good.Caught an image of Mt Rainiuer reflected on reflection lake.It is a fleeting moment as breez erase all traces of reflection in seconds! Panorama point yields a surprise view of Mt Adams,Glacier peak in N Cascade ,Mt Baker and Mt Rainier all at once! Fantastic.Half of visitors were from non English speaking countries.many ladies with silver hairs sporting Saris walking around the trails! UV blocker and water bottle are must items to take on all trails. Boys saw some wild life.we are surrunded by so much natural beauty ,it is great.
