Our first kids table was using a coffee table. we opted for oversized pillows & ottomans for seating. Burlap placemats were the tablecloth choice with a little personalization with a sharpie. The centerpiece was a scrabble game. Pails hold utensils and scrabble pieces. Not red solo cups, but solo cups just the same. Orange was our festive color of choice & again, some sharpie personalization. Table 2 was using a plaid throw for a rustic picnic feel. We used a stick hurricane to hold eating utensils and rolled napkins & tied with twine. Table 3 would be the same setup with some branches in the middle holding thankful leaves. Grab some branches from your yard and put in an urn. Use pebbles as a filler to hold in place. Cut out shapes with construction paper and punch a hole in each shape. Using twine, make a hanger for the tree. Kids get to write what theyre thankful for on their paper shape & hang on the tree. Its fun!
