Our friend Mark Bold has completed the planting of a five acre - TopicsExpress

Our friend Mark Bold has completed the planting of a five acre vineyard in Dammeron Valley west of St. George, Utah and now joins Roberto who has planted his vineyard in Leeds, north of St. George as two men doing more than their share to bring vineyards back to Southern Utah after a 150 year absence. This is an exciting project that will be the largest wine grape vineyard planted in Utah and what I hope will be the first step in many more vineyards to come. Mark has planted Malbec, Grenache, Tempranillo, Pinot Noir, Petite Sirah, Muscat Blanc and Semillion. One of the dreams we had when we opened the winery was to see Southern Utah become Utahs wine country and with the help of guys like Mark, we may just see it happen after all!
