Wow, I have to say that Im overwhelmed by all the people praying for us and the other family, and all the kind words. Thank you doesnt come close to expressing my gratefulness to all of you for standing with us in prayer. My heart is still heavy for the family who lost their son. Today has been a wonderful day. Through several miracles and God appointments, I have been set free, with a promise to pay the boys family a years wages and the bike (which is customary here), which comes out to $7000. dollars. It is a lot of money, but the agreement with the family has kept me from doing prison time and have a bad record. And let me tell you, that is not a pleasant place to be in. In this country the laws are different from what they are in the States, and even though everyone involved knew that the accident was not my fault, because I had the biggest vehicle and the most money, and the other person died, then the blame goes to me. Even though the person didnt have a drivers license, didnt have his bike registered, was going more than twice the speed limit, and was drinking. We have fifteen days to pay this amount to keep me from having to go to prison.
