Our governments dont take the time to properly explain to citizens why were in the Middle East.. Its not cuzza terrorism (that was merely the excuse to go over there) Its not cuz were trying to save the people from oppressive regimes (we let governments of Arabian allies still do archaic deeds that we claim to be fighting against in non-ally countries) The reason is simple.. Over 100 years ago, oil was discovered.. Oil was the cool new fuel.. So the west wanted to get it in their control.. Oil is no longer cool and new, we have cool new fuels currently in the form of nuclear, hydrogen, and low resistance electrical generation.. Realizing this, the oil corporations are funding and with holding the new cool fuel, until the old stuff is finished with.. When I was a lad, I sold weed.. I had some bunk stuff left from last grab, but I just got some new kush.. So I sold off the bunk stuff to make as much as I could from that, knowing that once my customer smoked the new kush, they wouldnt wanna go back to the bunk.. Thats basically what the oil/energy companies do today..
