Our holiday was eventful ! Cats roamed the hotel grounds, all looking happy & well until I discovered this beautiful little one with an horrific eye abscess. I carried her to our room and gave her a much needed drink. Then whilst Charlotte cared for her I went in search of help. Was told that many guests had reported seeing her with insects crawling in her eye but no-one had acted upon this. Lovely Kerem from guest relations contacted the local vet who said hed come to collect her and operate if we paid. I , said if this was the only way shed receive treatment then so be it ! As we waited for the vet the hotel had a re think and kindly decided to pay the bill. Poor little Peggys eye was so damaged it needed removing but at least she was out of the awful pain she mustve endured. She was returned to us on our last day where we fed her up, let her rest & loved her. When we left we had to release her back to her home after showing her to lots of guests & staff asking them to look out for her. If she were ours shed no doubt have antibiotics and after care but all we can do is hope she makes it. She was well ready to get back to her cat friends & adventures tho I cried leaving her. She sprang out of Charlottes arms and off she went. Good luck little Peggy, lots of love.
