Our house is so haunted. I am in the kitchen loading up the dishwasher and everyone is asleep. So as I am about th grab another plate to put in the dishwasher I hear a loud thump downstairs and the burglar alarm on the side door beeped once. I look the boys havent come home so whose downstairs. I go to the door to listen and I heard the water in the sink and shuffling around like someone was there. My heart was beating fast. I got scared. So I shoved a basket of dirty clothes between the downstairs door and upstairs. I ran back up and I still could hear moving about downstairs through the kitchen and then the outside light came on. Creeped me out. No one was there. I never scare easily when I hear creaking floor boards and doors closing when theres no one there. But that gave me goose bumps.
