Our human nature is to fight back and to try and correct those that want to destroy us. They say hurtful things, they spread untruths and gossip to make themselves look better. We see comments or hear of things they have done and said and our instinct is to say something back. Jesus stood with Pilot while all the people who loved him just days before and were chanting his praises were now chanting Crucify him, and he did not utter a word. God knows your heart. Be comforted in the fact that the bible says, IF GOD BE FOR ME THEN WHO COULD EVER EVER EVER BE AGAINST ME. it also says in the midst of confusion and trouble, 2 Peter 2:9 the Lord know how to deliver the godly out of temptations. Sometimes its best to be silent, while our accusers make a fool of themselves. Let God be God, He is bigger, He is better, and He is stronger.
