Our immigration system is broken and needs reform. If youre an American Im sure youve all heard that mantra ad nauseam. Well, I can only urge to drink any other cool aide if you want/must but do NOT drink THAT particular cool aide. Its a head fake. Its pure, utter nonsense. The only thing broken about our immigration system is the special interest Washington politicians who have for years systematically - refused - to enforce EXISTING LAWS. Add to that the current POTUS who, when he didnt get the immigration reform he wanted from Congress, went around Congress (and the people) and issued Executive Orders to accomplish his ends. The result is the all but total collapse of our Southern Border, which is a threat to OUR national defense and security. (Sidebar: The ONLY mandate our constitution issued to-the-newly-formed-USA was, To provide and adequate national defense.) Blah-blah-blah. I could go on and on and on.
