Our jorney began as an uncertain struggle and we were both un sure where life was leading us but you looked into my eyes with a promising smile held my hand and expected me to show you the way. Unfortunitly i couldnt. But you knew i wouldd be there no matter what and you would never be alone. Colt. Your first breath took mine away... The way you looked in my eyes made me weak! This is the start where your page meets mine. It is unreal how quickly time has gone by it feels like only yesterday I met you for the very first time and now your crawling yelling mama and laughing histercally at the littlest things. I know Im suppose to teach you and raise you but you have opened my eyes to things I was blind to and I couldnt be more thankful. Each and everyday that goes by I see a new part of not only you but also myself. I can not believe in 4 short months you will be a year old but I can not wait to see what an sweet strong young man you are going to grow up and blossom into. Our journey is not over just simply on hold Well I have to be honest As much as I wanted to tell the doctors no and take you home and tell you everything was going to be okay we both knew it wouldnt but what we did know is we had eachother. Im not gonna promise the cold winds wont blow and that this is the end. So when hard times have found you And your fears surround you i will always Wrap my love around you. Ill be in every beat of your heart Ill be there When you face the unknown Ill be there Wherever you fly. My love will follow you, stay with you Colt, youre never alone.
