Our knowledge exceeds our Production, Jill Giese with Josh Parker What an amazing conversation we just had in the airport. Theres a group of us upcoming producers that have been masterminding over the past 2 years covering topics from mindset to production to team building. Our knowledge exceeds our production. For us, its frustrating. We are the big thinkers, the learning based, the systems and models agents who eat, sleep and breathe growth. But we are not there yet. You know, right before I went on stage in Austin, I actually emailed the powers that be at KW and asked them to hide my 2013 production numbers. Why? Because even though I did as many units as many on the stage, my average price range last year didnt even break the $150,000 mark. I knew people would judge and question why I was even up there. Yep. They did. Some even challenged me directly asking me how I got up there on my production level since Mega camp should be for the biggest producers. I get it. I just broke $18,000,000 in a 12 month cycle with 101 transactions closed. 3 million over what showed on the screen, but still lower (1/2 or more even) than anyone else on the stage. Whats funny is that my team has amazing systems, models, structure and talent to do those 101 sides, but people still discredit our achievements over the $40,000,000 producer who did 28 closings in that same time frame. You want to hear something really amazing? Im friends with most of the people in this company that spin in the same circles. And Ive heard many discredit the biggest producers in the company saying things like... Hes only big because he landed a hedge fund or Shes only big because shes married to a lender or Hes just lucky because he had money to spend on TV/Radio etc., etc, etc. Everyone has something to offer. Everyone can learn from each other. Remember, you are only seeing whats being presented and you dont always know the story. Me? Im pretty proud that I have a growing team that does not require my presence that pays me a 6 figure income. But, does everyone know that story? No. Im proud that I havent had to personally work with a client to earn my living. I love that I get to lead generate and lead others for a living. Im doing my one thing and doing it well. I have a lot to share and a lot to give to those that care to listen. And, this isnt my first business. I built one that I sold for millions and is still in business together. How? Systems, Models, and a rock star database. But this isnt about me. Its a call to action asking you all to pay attention. Learn from each other. Stop discrediting people and maybe help build them up instead. This group Im in ARE your next Ben Kinneys and Mark Spains. We are the future of this company. I love the up and comers that are at every convention, read the books, apply the models, study the methods, mastermind together, and FAIL FORWARD together. I know this group. And we are about to knock your socks off *smiles*
