Our little buddy Vinnie Van Gogh absolutely loves when he meets his friends out on his many daily walks every day, and on this particular walk, Vinnie got to meet a new little friend. Vinnies got many, many friends that he has made over the last couple of months and one of his best buddies is our Popcorn Park director, John Bergmann. Vinnie looks forward to hanging out with his buddy John during the day and even has his own giant bed in Johns office so he can keep him company while hes working and taking meetings. Vinnie got to meet a junior Popcorn Park-er, Johns grandson, and just loved him of course. After Vinnie spent a couple of minutes getting to know his new delightful little friend, he was on his way to taking his big boy walk, determined as ever. Vinnie walks with great determination these days and you would never know that not only is Vinnie recovering from major surgery, but he also still has a broken hip. You simply cannot keep Vinnie down! He knows where hes going and what he wants, and no one will stop him! We do, however, limit his exercise still, so that he does not overdo it. Vinnie is healing very well but we must keep in mind that he still has a major problem with his other hip and we do not want to him to cause any more damage to that. He will go for surgery on that hip in another week or so and after that one is fixed, Vinnie will truly be unstoppable! We cant thank you all enough for following Vinnie along on his journey over the last two and a half months, and helping us so much with your prayers, well wishes, gifts and donations. You all have made is possible for us to bring this young pup back to life, literally.
