Our local, daily newspaper (the Times-News) today ran a quite-provocative EDITORIAL by its owner (Halifax Media Group, a 36-newspaper conglomerate headquartered in Daytona Beach, Florida) that all but endorsed Republican activist == BEN CARSON == for President of the United States. The editorial dismisses all other Republicans, observing that loser Mitt 47 Percent Romney is not thinking about running again, that there is merely some speculation that Chris Bridge-gate Christie win run, and that Fox TV pundit Mike Huckabee wouldnt likely win. The dark down period of George W. Bush means that the Bush name association wont help the ex-governor of Florida. As a result, the darkly-tainted surname may prevent Jeb Bush from earning the nod. Barring any other electable contenders from the Republicans, there is [Dr. Ben] Carson ... The result is a scenario that matches a woman whos an old hat in Washington against a [former] pediatric neurosurgeon ... a landmark election: a woman versus a black man for the office of the Presidency. Dragged down by President Clintons well-documented indiscretions, some say Hillary Clinton wont be young enough --- shell be 69 in November 2016 ... she is linked to President Barack Obama, who, like George W. Bush, will leave office on several sour notes ... his [2010 Patient Protection and] Affordable Care Act, which was designed to be his legacy, will be seen by most as a disaster... The editorial concludes that Ben Carson will probably win since History has shown that Americans embrace the new and different ... thinking someone else could do a better job.
