Our malamute rescue Tessie was featured in a Dog Magazine last month. Part of the article dealt with our rescue of Tessie and the great work Cynthia did in healing many of Tesss wounds. Tess was rescue from a puppy mill in Montana several years ago. She was malnourished and had severe health problems due to abuse. When we adopted Tess, she was labeled untouchable. And that is how she was when we first met her. She was extremely fearful and timid. But over time, with Chibu and Bu Bears help, Tess has come out of her shell. Not all the way but she has great joy in her life for the first time and we spoil her with love and affection every day. When we first brought her home, all we saw was her eyes staring out from inside her crate. Tess met Chiba on Chibas last day with us. The top two pictures feature Tessie.
