Our mission at Red Oak Camps is simple: To Develop Children’s Inner Strengths through Outdoor Adventure. This mission hasnt changed since the first Red Barn campers arrived in 1947, the Red Oak boys’ first summer of overnight camp five years later, or those first Chincapin girls mounted their horses five years after that. Our camp is strong, rich in tradition and true to its core. It takes our dedicated staff and our community of committed supporters to keep Red Oak Camps going. And in this era of cell phones, computers and video games, the traditional camping experience we provide has never been more important.
