Our new December 29 Group had a day full of Thai culture and Thai language, with a late afternoon teacher workshop in an unusual location atop The Dune boutique hotel on the beach. The topic of the workshop was on how to overcome culture shock and the three fears that teachers oten face during their first few weeks at their Thailand teaching placements: Fear of the unknown, fear of losing control, and fear of loneliness. Tomorrow is more Thai culture, a Muay Thai lesson, and a Barbecue on Kao Takiab beach to usher in 2015!
