Our next artist spotlight focuses on a guy weve recently been introduced to, but who has been doing this thing called TRANCE for years! Talking about EUPHORIC NATION! Originally 4 people, Euphoric Nation is now Don Ortega, a seasoned DJ / Producer. Originally formed in 2010, Don has held the same vision for Euphoric Nation - to provide people with ways to enjoy trance and progessive music. He does this in multiple ways - through his live weekly radio show called Trance Paradise, his live sets throughout the country, and through his productions. Raised in Minnesota, Don fell in love with Trance when his friend showed him Paul Oakenfold compilations recorded in the early 2000s. He fell in love with the transitions of the tracks and was fascinated with how tracks mixed together. After graduating from a prestigious private college in Business (University of Saint Thomas) he decided to purchase his own equipment to learn how to create his own transitions of trance music. After spending a year practicing and learning how to mix on CDJs he started his own radio show called Trance Paradise. This show is mixed live each week and broadcasted to the world through Club Beats, a radio station Don owns. Through this format, people can interact with Don weekly through live text and video chat. Euphoric Nation has two official releases out - Rainy Streets and a remix of Visible (both co-produced with Casiano Ortega). Although a small number of releases, Don plans to take this head on and release music more consistently. Euphoric Nation is still very young to the scene. With the great ambition, talent, and drive of Don Ortega, you wont want to miss how Euphoric Nation turns out in the future!!
