Our night isn’t ending to well. Ryan was ordered an oral glucose tolerance test that will determine his islet cell levels for the auto islet transplant. Before he was given the dextrose liquid Ryan had to get another IV and it took over three sticks to even get it in. Once that was complete he then drank the liquid, which didn’t go to well. Ryan was vomiting in between drinking it and the nurse thinks it could be from him not eating/drinking since August 24th. Ryan gets his last blood test at 10:15 and we are praying that he didn’t throw up to much and the test can be completed. If not, they will have to stick another tube in his other nostril and do the test that way. Please pray for Ryan.
