Our police officers are all about serving and protecting -- even if youre an injured bird. Officer Jeremy Curvan was on Memorial Causeway today when he saw three cars stopped in the middle of the road. He thought it was a crash, then realized people were stopping for a wayward westbound bird on the road. A ctitizen grabbed the bird and gave it to Officer Curvan, who then took the young bird to the Clearwater Marine Aquarium. It appeared as if it maybe had a broken wing and had been hit by a car.
