Neon Glowsie Starlings Reflect the vibrant sunrise Chambering a serendipitous melody Of joy and gratitude To awaken the day on Segera. Majestic giraffes Peer above the Acacia trees Staring into the horizon With intuitive clarity Exuding uplifted confidence and focus. Elephants sander With deliberate mindfulness Mind and step in unison An enormous daily walking meditation. The land is alive in the bush! Zebras strut their warrior manes Like show horses on parade, Provocatively displaying their unique striped patterns Fingerprints of distinction Co-dependently immersed in each other. Warthogs flee from their speedy minds A constant scrimmage with fear and thought Evoking grins and giggle from all who see them A playful reminder to let go. Opulent Ostrich tango across the sun lit prairies Dance partners for life Indulging an occasional cut-in By a Giant Gazelle An orchestrated waltz Across the dance floor of golden grass. In Segera, life is stunning… A moment by moment auspicious coincidence Punctuated by the authentic generosity of The beautiful people who work here Offering daily displays of Bodhichitta – awakened heart Inspired by gratitude And the harmony of this place Every site, sound and smell A constant reminder To stay in the now….
