Our relation with Allah has turned from one flourished with the most beautiful connotations of love into one filled with constant terror and fear from His wrath and fire. [It is sorrowful that] our children are the victims of this state. We have come to raise our children on the notion that Allah “chokes” them, burns them in Hellfire and other distorted dreadful images, at a time we ought to get them used to address Allah freely… Allah should be the first One they think of complaining to, addressing and invoking for anything they want. We should plant in their minds that Allah loves them and answers their prayers when they call on Him and that He is the closest to them than anything or anyone else
