Our school is in need of a new printer. The old one has gone bye bye, and I have big plans for this next year! We have just over 6 weeks to go before we begin school! 3rd and 4th grades! These are the first 2 years of schooling that I can really remember but there were things that happened both years that stand out. The first was my younger brother was born when I was in 3rd grade! I went to Redding for my first experience with the public school system. I only stayed there for the one year. Then went to CFCA for 4th and 5th grades. Then it was back to public school for 6th and 7th grades but a different school. Still elementary however. I actually graduated from elementary school after 7th grade. Now I think they only go through 5th. I have been thinking about this too. Do I have a little graduation for the boys when they move from Elemantary to Middle School with them being at home? Is this really one of those things that they will one day regret that they never had a graduation from lower grades to higher grades? I am thinking probably not but time will tell between now and then. I have until the end of next year to worry with it. I think at very least we will have a little family celebration with dinner at the "graduates" choice of restaurants with me whipping up an awesome cake for them! Homeschooling can be so fun and always such an adventure!!
