Our second Novice AV Spaniel trial was held at Llanidloes by permission of Mark and Stephanie Partridge. The weather was against us all day with fog, low cloud and drizzle. The winning dogs showed great control and stamina when hunting the bracken and rush covered hillside. The guns, Martin, Steve, Tom and Jim shot a mixed bag of partridge and pheasant for the dogs. The judges Martin Ashman and Hazel Crockford worked hard to ensure the trial gave every dog a fair run and the last few retrieves finished the day in a patch of open woodland. 1st Andy Bennett with RIXTON CHARISMA JESSIE. 2nd Liam Mulcrow with RYDANLUE PARAMOUNT. 3rd Manny Burton with DAWSONLEE FLEET PIBWRLWYD. 4th Kieren Pugh with BRYNGWRHYD OSCAR.
