Our second Schenectady AC success story of the night. You all remember our Parvo pup Abe. Now fully recovered and vetted he also moved to his new foster to adopt home tonight. Thanks to the wonderful referral from Abes savior Sarah Rimkunas M Abe has found a family of his own! He was once a throw away and because of our relationship with Schenectady AC we were able to help him live. Special thanks to Megeen Simoneau and Andrea Wells for loaning him him their basement, walking him separate from the world and cleaning up after him with bleach while he finished shedding that horrible virus. Without them he had nowhere to go and ultimately would have had to be put to sleep. Not too many people are comfortable fostering a Parvo dog. We put up a Go Fund Me and asked for help and raised enough to cover his 1500 bill. Thanks to everyone who donated. Together we all saved Abe. He certainly was worthy of living. We will keep everyone posted as he settles in to his first real home. Congrats Abe!
