Our small charity feeds over 600 cats and dogs EVERY day. We feed the rescued cats and dogs at the sanctuary and also the starving strays in the area too. We use 100 kilos of rice daily, 50 kilos of fresh fish, 10 kilos of lentils, 58 kilos of vegetables, 30 kilos of complete dog food, 5 kilos of complete cat food, 8 pots of curd, 5 kilos of soaked puppy biscuits, puppy milk for the tiny orphaned pups and vitamin supplements. The cost to the charity is HUGE, approx 40,000 rupees per day -that is 200 pounds sterling EVERY day. We believe that a good nutritional diet is crucial to aid the recovery of sick animals.
