Our son Trace Alistaire Fairbanks was born early this morning, July 27th, at 12:30 am at the Utah Valley Regional Medical Center in Provo. He weighed 6 lbs 12 ounces and is 18 inches long. Labor and delivery went well, water broke at 4:20pm after painless contractions all morning. Felt great after the epidural kicked it, and only had about 15-20 mins of intense labor. Trace has the sweetest temperament, loves looking around and watching everything around and listening to the people around him. He also likes to have his cute little hands up around his face and suck on them. :) Im doing really well, sore from the episiotomy and feeling mildly squeamish in my tummy from the sudden relief of pressure. But otherwise feeling great. David and I are so happy and in love with this angel, and feel so incredibly blessed that Heavenly Father has trusted us as his parents.
