Our state has lost two wonderful and dedicated public servants this week. Hollistons Lt. Shawn Moore and Worcesters Rep. John Binienda have left their mark on the world and will be greatly missed. I first got to work with Lt. Moore during the planning of Hollistons new police station. For him, the project was a labor of love for his community and I will never forget his sincerity and dedication. Its people like Lt. Moore that make me so proud to live in and represent Holliston. Rep. Binienda was a long-time member of the Worcester legislative delegation who was always there to help and share his experience with a new legislator. For that I will always be grateful. My thoughts and prayers are with their families at this difficult time.
