Our stay was very nice, from the moment we checked in, to the moment we checked out. Cookies on the counter and friendly, upbeat front desk staff made me feel welcome right away! The only hitch to our stay was the lack of an elevator, as my companion has health issues which make negotiating stairs difficult, and sometimes impossible. I hadnt even considered that there wouldnt be an elevator in a multilevel building. However, when we saw a staff member in the corridor and asked about the elevator, he called the front desk and arranged for a change of rooms so we could be on the ground floor, let us into our new room, and went to pick up our new keys for us. We were impressed by the care and respect with which he handled our situation. The room was small, but clean and appointed with everything we needed, from shampoo and mouth wash to bottled water. We were also glad to have refrigerator and microwave in the room as well. We also received a welcome bag at check in with a bottle of water, chocolate bar, mints and coupons for the adjacent casino. With our budget in mind, we typically stay at Motel 6, which has NOTHING in the way of amenities, no pool, shampoo, or even Kleenex available. We decided that with the pool, comforts, and more than adequate breakfast buffet, the price difference more than evens out, and in the future will be staying at Best Western!Thank you for a lovely weekend.
