Our susceptibility as a country to corruption is one of the greatest dragons we must tear down if we are to become a developed state. We must purify not only our minds, but hearts and souls...our actions must portray good citizenship, integrity, commitment to selfless leadership and brotherhood as we find solutions to predicaments as a nation. The Legislature must lead from the front in shunning corruption but with their current plans of increasing allowances and absenteeing oneself from Parliament and having exemptions from disciplinary action, I am saddenned to confess that we still have a long way to go.
