Our trip from Gibsons to Secret Cove was nice and smooth, not quite as picturesque as our previous legs, and nowhere near as hot, but smooth enough. I was a bit peeved when there was no moorage available at the cove, and more so once we tied up at the alternative dock Buckaneer Bay Marina... I am a creature of comfort and take my creature comforts seriously (such as internet and contact with the rest of the world!), so when I woke up and was already out to sea (thanks to Al & Jason battening down the hatches!) and found my contact was re-established, I became Happy Jac :) So now, its onward to Nanaimo for a night, where I will throw on a pot of chili and some buns, and have my Dad on down to the boat for a visit... kinda starting to miss civilization this trip.
