Our trip to thailand...bear with me , it was eventful! Arrived in Bangkok and stepped out in to a very humid city for the heavens to open and rain poured for a good couple of hours, then the next day we decided to explore the city by visiting the palace, temples and the infamous Buddhas, we got a boat ride in which we were ripped off, but we were not too bothered as we were taken around the sights of Bangkok, the evening appeared eventful, with neither of us remembering what happened that night, I think the 2 x G&T buckets tipped us over the edge! Now we did not just want to do the usual touristy thing, so we decided to even experience hospital life, when I was rushed to hospital after collapsing a few times and scaring the jeebees in to my new husband. The hospital...luxury in comparison to ours, however, expensive for 1 night, we ended up there for 2 courtesy of Barclays Travel Insurance. Just before leaving I reached in to a bag where my razor was waiting, I then razored half my little finger off, the blood was flowing! Then eventually once discharged we flew to Samui with a hotel booked in Koh Tao the last leg would be to get the boat over to the island, when we arrived in Samui we were informed we missed the last boat to Koh Tao for the night, this did not make us happy bunnies, instead we ended up getting a last minute hotel in Samui where our doors opened up on the to beach, lush. Then off the Koh Tao, not sure what to expect but when we arrived....PARADISE! Simply beautiful. We lazed about for 2 days with our 3rd going snorkelling, we were excited, until the evening before I decided to get food poisoning, which resulted in cancelling the trip, but we did not let us dampen our holiday as we laid by the pool getting some rays. I felt bad for going to bed early so told biffy to go an expire for the evening, and that he did, getting very drunk falling over, scrapping skin off his knee, hand and toe, he was feeling ropey the next day, off to the rocky 3 hours boat journey to Samui. We arrived in another lush hotel with sea views for biffy to also come down with food poisoning! We needed up in Phuket by going to the weirdest almost psychedelic theme park FantaSea, just odd, but fun, then ended up elephant trekking, expiring a jungle with a beautiful waterfall, authentic Thai food with big mumma, a gem tour and canoeing down a crocodile invested river (which i did not know until after I got back). Amongst the illnesses we had loads if fun ad have seen some amazing sights! Now back to reality!
