Our utter insistence to define ourselves by where we are from, what we look like, what we believe and what we teach are in reality not the sum of who we are at all but rather a minute sampling of all the innumerable possibilities within each human being. True progress and growth only ever really happens when we, both individually and as a group, let go of the illusion of separation and come into the reality that we are in fact all one. Not an easy concept to grasp, much less practice I’ll admit, but the truth remains the same.
