Our very dear friends David Rasmussen and Sharon Eldridge Rasmussen have been the stewards of this property in Tennessee for 15 years or so. Weve spent many (but not enough) days and nights here. Weve brought friends here from NY. I corralled cattle here. I chilled out on the porch. For hours. And it was constructive. And Daisy the pit bull. What a gentle and loving creature. Going down the gravel path I could always feel my blood pressure drop. It will take a while, but I will get Dawn to give the new stewards a shot. Our paths will cross with David and Sharon ( soon NOLA 2015) and they are always welcome in our home. So take a moment and see when Dawn and I love this place, and wish David and Sharon well. May the roads rise with you, may the wind be always at your back, may the sun shine warm upon your face, and may you be in heaven half an hour before the devil knows youre dead.
