Our words are like Penicillin. When used carefully, it can be a cure for many things and a relief for others. In its rawest form, it is a poison that kills without discretion. Our words, when not used carefully, can destroy lives and break spirits to the point of no recovery. As David once wrote, Let the words of my mouth and the meditations of my heart be acceptable in thy sight, Oh Lord. I pray that I would learn to weigh every word when speaking to another. My hearts desire is to be the balanced dose of penicillin and not the raw form. If words dont bring instruction, healing, peace, direction, etc., then they are usually destructive. If they stir strife, cause hard feelings, tear down dreams, crush spirits, etc., then theyre best kept to ourselves. The human soul is far too important to take for granted. God is concerned about EVERY human being, not just a select few. He will fight the battles for those whove put their faith and trust in him, but be aware that he is just as concerned about the lost as well. Our words, as Christians, reflect on him and when we use words of destruction against the sinner, he hears them. Remember, God so loved the World that he gave his only begotten son............... God still loves the sinner and desires that they come to him. If we claim to be the light that can lead them to Christ, then our words and meditations must measure up to his word.........especially when dealing with sinners. Judgments must be reserved for God. He loved us, even when we were in sin..........ought we not to love one another with the same understanding? In my little corner of the field; Lord, make It a bountiful yield. Dont let me lose one and I pray I wont bruise one.........in my little corner of the field. Love yall. Have a blessed day. Remember who you are. Remember who you were before. Patience goes a long way when dealing with those who are still struggling to become who they want to be. ;-)
