Out doing some final smack testing on the NMP Three Blade Conversion Set for the E700! After a lot of testing and dialing in the three blade head design and three blade Helix 695 blade set, Im finally ready to release some details on the conversion set that will be available soon (should have a limited run by the end of this month) from Nick Maxwell Products. The conversion is for the TT E700 (v1/v2) and will include the modified parts necessary to build the three blade head, 3 Blade Helix Rotor blade set designed specially for 3Blade 3D, and a CD with specific setup files for the CGY750 and Castle 160 ESC for this head and blade set. The CD will also include the conversion instructions. The .gyr file that will be included can be uploaded with Futabas GYLink, downloadable from Futaba/Hobbicos downloads page, using version 1.4 as the base firmware. You can adjust the model to your own liking just like any CGY750 setup using the Flight Tuning menu parameters such as the CYC.Rate, CNT.Gain, Response Style, Expo, etc, etc. The ESC file is using Castles SET RPM mode and pre-setup for the Scorpion 4235-520, with 12t pinion. Simply type in the RPMs youd like to use in the 3 boxes like normal. Ive found with the supplied gov settings an RPM range from 700-1900 works/governs quite well for most flying styles. The preset RPMs will be what I use for FAI hovering/aerobatics and 3D. The head conversion bolts onto and uses many existing E700 parts from your two blade head. The conversion includes: -Swashplate Adaptor -Phase Arm Block -Headblock -(3) Blade Grip Arms -(3) Spindles and Bolts -3 Blade Helix Rotor Blade Set -CD with Instructions and Set-up files Whats needed to complete the conversion: -(1) TT blade grip and thrust bearing (PV1637+ PV0172) -(1) Blade grip post (PV6048) -(1) Blade grip bolt (PV0177) -Linkage Set (Beefy links/correct rod length from the X50E- PV1387) -12T Pinion (PV1757) - 4.71 Tail Ratio (Optional-available soon from TT) Hope this gives you the first little bit of info on the conversion set, and relatively soon to follow will be a more in depth video on the conversion parts, the pluses (and differences) of using a three blade head for 3D vs two blade, and some general set-up and more flying characteristic videos. All parts of this conversion are designed, and made, in the USA by Nick Maxwell Products and Vic Cambell of V-Blades!! :D youtu.be/9WQkQomuSY8
