Out for a walk yesterday evening about 2.5 miles from the house. I look up and theres a bear 50 yards in front of me on the same dirt road Im walking. Not a big bear maybe 100 lbs max but, that made me think I hope theres no mother bear. Nope didnt need to change my shorts, no bigger bear followed. We looked at each other for a few seconds and the bear wandered back into the woods as I attempted to get my phone to take a photo- missed him. Walked past the point he entered the woods 30 seconds later - the bear had vanished. First one Ive seen living here the past 13 years.
