Out of 2970 students in the Arts Faculty of Jadavpur University out of whom 2602 cast their votes: 84.07% (2497) students have voted for the resignation of the VC. 85.95% (2553) students have voted for a judicial probe into the 17th Sept. Incident. 85.08% (2527) students have voted for a judicial probe into the 28th Aug. Incident. 84.74% (2517) students have voted for reconstruction of ICC with elected students representatives. 79.42% (2359) Students have voted against the ongoing surveillance in campus. Overwhelming majority is an understatement. The general students of the Arts Faculty have unanimously made their voice heard against a Vice Chancellor who has lost any moral right to hold his post, for a transparent and honest inquiry into two events who both deserve justice, for gender equality and against the states attempt to curb our democratic freedom. We have 100% faith that on the 12th of November, our voice will be joined by the students of the Science and Engineering faculties. The movement, the fight shall continue until all our demands are met. Till then, #hokkolorob
