Out of a population of some 60 million there are 450,000 Jews in Britain. Yet in the past five days there have been two top level meetings between their community leaders and The government, one of them with Prime Minister, David Cameron. As a result the police have intensified special security measures to protect the Jewish Communities in North London, Manchester and other cities. A senior Metropolitan Police spokesman justified this because he says there is a, concern for their safety, whilst admitting there is no specific threat against them. In view of this, many people will reasonably ask why these special and costly measures are being implemented for the protection of a minority of the population at the expense of the majority?
