Out of this world: Using NASAs Kepler Space Telescope, a team of astronomers that includes Penn State scientists has discovered the first Earth-like planet - one that is about the same size as Earth and orbiting a star from a distance where liquid water might exist on the planets surface. While a lot is still unknown about Kepler-186f, (mainly because its about 500 light-years away!) who knows? Maybe someday well be changing our campus name to Penn State Worlds Campus...
