Police confiscated over 100 ILLEGAL guns in one weekend and Rahm Emanuels on the news tonight saying and I quote its a fair question..where were the police? What were they doing? I would also say..where are the gun laws so you can have comprehensive background checks? Really Rahm? Sounds like if police got 100 guns off the street they were doing their job best they could. Gun laws? Because gang bangers are going to follow the legal procedures to procure a weapon. Lets be real. Guns were never allowed in the city before....so by your theory there should have never been a shooting in Chicago. Gang members dont obey laws, thats the problem. They wont procure a gun legally any sooner than they go out and get jobs and decide to be stand up gentlemen. I need out of Illinois. End rant.
