Over 8 years ago our family first moved to CT and bought a house from a dear old lady who had lived it in all her life (since it was built when she was 3.) Marjorie never married or had children and left to live in a nursing home, where we visited her regularly for the past eight years. This morning, at age 97, she passed away. When we first moved into her home, Marjorie wrote me a note saying, I know you feel you are inheriting a house, but I feel I am inheriting a family. Our hearts are sad, but we are thankful and blessed to have been a small part of her life. I can just imagine her freely enjoying heaven right now!
