Over a month-old and many successes. Yet, media remains hostile to Modi sarkar Narendra Modi took over as the Prime minister of the country, and soon the age old bureaucracy started working, everyone started falling in line. From ministers to IAS officers, everyone was on their toes with one mandate only -- Start working else people are waiting in line. But, the opposition never applauded any initiative taken by the Modi government in last 30 days. They have deceived themselves in utopia. Let us look at important actions of Modi’s government. Iraq Crisis The recent Iraq crisis shook not just the Arab world, but the entire world with its brutality. Indian nurses working in Iraq were stuck in the middle of a civil war, and here at home, self-proclaimed messaihs started beating their chest, cursing the Modi government for not rescuing Indian nationals from war-torn Iraq. The Indian government left no stone unturned to rescue Indians. In this effort to rescue the nurses, the government deployed INS Mysore in Persian Gulf. Media went gaga over Iraq crisis, but the same media silent over the extraordinary role played by the NSA and PMO in rescuing nurses from Iraq. Rescue mission was completed and the messaihs started praising Kerala government for the rescue operation. They fail to understand that neither foreign relations nor Indian defense forces are commanded by any state government in India. We may be political opponents, ideological enemies, but during hours of crisis, we must act like one big family that is “India”.
